  • Identify native trout populations in the Farmill River and its tributaries.
  • Identify, through research, areas of Farmill River habitat that need improving.
  • Coordinate volunteers and professional to develop and implement plans to improve River ecology
  • Encourage local residents (those that live close to or on the river) to use proven landscaping strategies that improve water retention, filtration and reduce temperature, as well as limit propagation of invasive species and improve surrounding habitat.
  • Identify point sources of pollution and sediment from storm drain run-off and create safe sustainable drainage solutions to improve water quality.
  • Coordinated efforts between Private, Local and State organizations
  • Traveling Trout tank – purchase booth space at several or all local public gatherings to promote and educate public about the river and trout as indicators of the health of local environment and connection to public health.
