Location:Open Space Parking – Just before corner of Mohegan and Booth. From parking area, go down stream to first riffle section

Method: Using a D-frame net, Kick sample and hand turned rocks, 3 samples in sections across river (close to shore sample, ΒΌ way across river, mid river sample). All samples in riffle of river
Results:
Stone Flies / May Flies larvaβ Estimated number = 30+, with 2 to 3 different species β Found Giant Stone flies and either Minnow Mayfly or Body Builder Mayflies
Caddis Flies larva β estimated =30+, with 2 to 3 species
Others β many Midge Larva, Black Fly Larva
