In a joint effort Trout Unlimited and the Far Mill River AssociationĀ markedĀ Earth Day with this last Saturdays general clean-up of trash along the Farmill River banks along the stretch following Baird’s Saw Mill Road in Shelton was once again successfully carried out by the dedicated volunteers who joined in the work. Several hundred pounds of trash were collected along the banks of the Baird’s Mill Pond section of the river.
